Add Your Logo & Link to Available Points of Interest.
This advertising has been tailor made for the historical societies and other non-profits that want to support the History Check project, but can also be used by businesses.
- A museum houses a former school house or church that has been moved to the museum. A Point of Interest with historical content can be placed on the original site, along with the museum link & logo, directing visitors to the museum to see the existing building.
- Fishing Derbies are held as fundraisers during an annual event. The non-profit can use boat launches and other water access points in the area to place a logo, image and link to the derby.
- A historical Point of Interest is placed in your community with an available ad space. Your non-profit can provide a logo, image or link for your annual event.
- Businesses can also take advantage of local or related Points of Interest to draw attention to their business.
The possibilities are endless with a little creative thought going towards what type of site would bring the most attention to your organization.
You can support this Alberta wide history and tourism initiative by adding your Link and Logo to available sites in the History Check Mobile App. Recognizable by the invitation to advertise as shown in the yellow box in the image, the sites are found throughout Alberta. As a rule of thumb they are not ‘owned’ or ‘operated’ by an business or organization.
The cost is $100 annually. You can choose your site of choice or we can select one for you, finding a site that has a relationship to your business or organization. We will also provide a one sentence recognition of your ad in the textual description of the site and provide your link there.
